The past few months I have gotten off track in my running training. Between illness (of myself and others), travel, and holidays as well as weather its been hard to get exercise in.
BUT I’m hoping we are on our way to recovery… so now back to setting goals and training. Originally I’d wanted to do a triathlon in 2012, but with the kids schedule, that just isn’t possible. So I will be training for one and will do one in 2013!
I have a new bike, I have my swimsuit… I think I’ll get a new pair of prescription goggles and a lap counter… but otherwise I’m set to go.
I’m thinking I might do the Longest Day Run in June…. They have a 5k and 10km… I might do the 5km with my son – it would push him… and would force us to get out and train. He doesn’t run but does a decent speed walk (under a 12min/km)
